Climbing on the rock of Acropolis you will enjoy an amazing view. Enjoy the theater of Dionysus, the Odeum of Herodes Atticus, the Ancient Greek Agora, the modern city of Athens and even the port of Piraeus.
After our visit to the Acropolis, you will discover the rest of the city by a relaxing ride. You will see the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Hadrian’s Arch and our next stop is the Old Olympic Stadium.
Before leaving our beautiful capital you will have the chance to witness the intricate changing ritual of the guards in front of Athens’ Presidential Palace and see some neoclassical buildings of 19th century such as the Trilogy of Culture, the masons on Queen Sophia’s Av. and the House of the Parliament on Constitution Sq. (Syntagma Square) where the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier exists.
It’s time to say goodbye to the urban scenery and start our tour to Corinth. During the ride, your driver will tell you some interesting stories about the greek history. Next, we will have our first stop. You will walk on the engineering marvel of Corinth Canal. Take your time (approx. 30 min.) to capture amazing pictures and drink coffee on the nearby rest area café.
After this break, we will continue our ride through the local roads to enjoy the beautiful nature of Peloponnese. We will reach the Ancient Corinth after 20 minutes. The Ancient Corinth was a powerful and strategic center where numerous historic, cultural and religious events have taken place. Visit the Temple of Apollo, that is one of the oldest temples in Greece dating back to the 6th century B.C. and the center of the Ancient Agora on the renowned Bema, where St. Paul gave his speech.
Furthermore you will discover the spring of Glauke, the market place, the theater, the Odeon and several other Roman buildings. Visit the fountain of Pinene and learn all the hidden myths. Before our lunch, we will visit the Archaeological Museum.
