Day 1
Depart from Athens and you will be taken to see the most impressive and striking scenery in Greece – METEORA. You will marvel at the monasteries that are perched on top of huge rocks as if suspended in mid-air. These ageless monasteries are host to exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Overnight there
Day 2
After this final and memorable visit of METEORA you will start your journey back towards Athens via Lamia, Thermopyle. Here you will stop to visit Leonidas monument, the famous warrior who with 300 Spartians who made a stand against the thousands – strong Persian army in 480 BC.
